Being the guy I am, I've often considered how such a confrontation may go. Ultimately my headcanon decided that Godzilla would absorb the ambient gamma radiation of the Hulk, either severely weakening him or reverting him to Banner.

Thanks bro. I don't know that much about Godzilla's powers... this pic was probably the Marvel version I had in mind. I don't think the fight would be as one-sided as it appears... either way, it would be epic!

This would make for an interesting altercation and team-up. It's a shame that it'll most likely never happen. Oh, well! This is still awesome.
By the way, what do you think of Gerry Duggan taking over the Hulk series in August after Mark Waid's lackluster/mediocre tenure?

Too bad it never happened during the Marvel Comics run but Herb Trimpe(who was doing the art) vowed he would never draw the Hulk again so this confrontation never saw the light of day.

The sad thing is, Herb did indeed draw the Hulk several times since then (good for us fans though... I love Herb's Hulk!).
