Description Well, seeing as this will now not see print I figure it's safe to put this up. It's my artwork from the now defunct Liberation UK's Incredible Hulk 1982 boxset, which was due to be released last month before the company went bankrupt.

The DVD may not have been released, but the artwork lives on.... enjoy.

Once again, you absolutely nailed him. How does it feel to be in my top 3 Hulk artists?

Wow.... thank you! I would be very interested to know who the other 2 are

Adam Kubert and Dale Keown. I also love what Tim Sale did in Hulk: Grey.

Again... wow!! I'm extremely flattered to be named a favourite Hulk artist along with those guys! Adam Kubert is brilliant no matter who he draws, as is Dale... who is actually one of my all-time favourite Hulk artists as well (along with Sal Buscema). This has made my day.... thank you!

No problem. I also love Sal Buscema, but I prefered the work he did on Spider-Man to the work he did on Hulk. I feel that you capture the same old-school sensibilities and style incredibly well.

Thank you! I was recently told very similar by Sal's niece Stephanie Buscema (who is an awesome artist in her own right... check out her work here )... which as you can imagine was an incredible compliment as well!
I too love Sal's Spidey work... although his Hulk will always be the definitive version to me

Wow, she is good... but totally not what I expected .
Sal's Green Goblin is the definitive for me. I don't think I can say for a definitive Hulk, as he's always drawn so differently.
But like I said, I was introduced to the Hulk in the 80's cartoon, so that will always be a strong favourite for me, and you do it excellently.

I'm very sorry to hear that. But on the bright side, the Incredible Hulk never looked so good!!

Sad news about the set--though it wouldn't have done me much good in the states. These Hulk pics are awesome, though. This is still one of my favorite versions of the character. At least we got some great Hulk artwork out of the deal.

Funnily enough, I'd heard the previous Hulk releases were region free.... so maybe you'd have been able to watch them. We'll never know though
Thanks for the kind words regarding the artwork... I really appreciate it

Ack! Don't tease me like that!

The 1982 Hulk cartoon was my introduction to the Hulk comic lore beyond the basic "David Banner/Don't Make Me Angry" premise. The Gamma Bomb test, Rick Joes, Betty Roos and her grumpy dad T-Bolt, and Maj. Talbot--I learned about all of those from the Hulk cartoon. And of course it was my introduction to the still relatively new on the scene Savage She-Hulk as well--which is why I often draw Jenny as a blonde!

Your renderings of that Hulk are great--I always loved his eyes in that. I'd love to see your rendition of some of the other characters someday--but as long as you keep the great classic Hulk stuff coming, I'll be happy!

That Hulk cartoon was awesome... from the opening sequence with the great theme music, to the whole look of the character himself! Definitely the definitive version of ol' Greenskin in animated form... even to this day

And again, thank you for the kind words regarding my work... if I get time maybe I'll do an animated She-Hulk to go with him.
