This picture marked my very first collaboration with the ultra-talented Jason Cardy.... and was indeed the picture that got him his break into the comics business. It was also to be a poster in the short-lived UK Transformers Armada comic from Panini, but alas the book got cancelled so it never saw print.......

It's kind of strange to say this, but other than the PS2 game I never really got as much into the Armada story line. However I really DID like this incarnation of Optimus Prime, hence I also really like this rendition of him.

Never liked Transformers as a kid (hey I'm a Masters-fan) but the pic looks sweet and great that it opened doors for your friend as well.

Ah yes I've seen this pic before! Was on one of TF DVDs. Tis a shame that Panini cancelled the series and it would it been nice to see them do Energon and Cybertron. Spanking stuff!
