Description
Since the first one got so many views, here we go again! Bootscreen Number 2!This one's dedicated to everyone who has a computer that takes forever to boot up.
I hope everyone enjoys this, even if you have a fast gaming rig (Hey, it can never be fast enough, can it?)
I messed around with the colours to have them look as good as is possible with the limitations of only being able to use 16 colours and 4-bit encoding... (What you're looking at is the pretty JPEG version, if you click on "Download To Computer" you'll get the version you have to use)
NEW! Recolours:
I wasn't too pleased with the first result, so I added a few recolours. Hope you find one you like best.

How to use:
I recommend using Bootlogo, which you can download at this german site: [link] > "Weiter" > "Tools" > "Bootlogo.zip"
The program itself is Multilanguage, including English.
To apply the bootscreen, just click the Download button to save the .bmp file to your PC, in the program select the path and image and click on "Set this Boot Image".

Yes, if you decide that you don't like the bootscreen after you have applied it, you can restore the default one if you press "Remove Boot-Image" in the program.

Hmm, I don't really know how to make one... I'd definitely have an idea for it, though. An old Dodger, saying "Finally"...
Let me know if you know how to do one... or if you know a tutorial for it. Then, yeah, I'd make one for you.

Hi I'am a a fan of your art and your design! Recently I downloaded a copy of the your program or Bootload. And When i restart the Computer Its has two option the regular Win. XP and the Boot Log version; and they give you like 25 sec to choose or they choose the regular Win. XP. Is there a way to make it soo that Boot Log version always appear then have a screen that askes you which one to use?
Please relply ASAP.
THANKS

Glad to hear you enjoy the bootscreen!
I'm sorry to say that I haven't experienced this issue myself, so I don't know how to solve it as of now.
I'll have a look into it though as soon as I can, as far as I know, a friend of mine has (had) the same problem.
Thanks for your patience!

Okay, I haven't found a way to completely turn this off, but my friend told me a way to set it to only 3 seconds, instead of 25.
Start > Execute > Type in "msconfig" > Go to the "BOOT.INI" Tab > Set the "Time Limit" to 3 (It can't go lower)
I hope this helped.

Geez I can relate. I swear those load bars would move backwards when I'm not looking.
