Description
This was my entry for the recent 2000AD "Art Stars" competition.I spent a ridiculous amount of time on this image over a period of 6 weeks (I know it probably doesn't look it!). I lived and breathed it. Each character and building is actually a full separate individual drawing as I had to fit this in around my day job. 60% of the drawing was done on lunch breaks etc whenever I could grab a minute, only way to get it done! Eventually it was all put together and coloured in Photoshop.
Anyway, it would be fair to say that the picture made absolutely no impact at all π.....so, on reflection, it probably was not worth the sacrifices made! π
The winning entry was WAY beyond my ability, so probably not worth a shot in the future, we'll see.
Oh well.........back to the drawing board! π

I feel your pain! I spent hours on my entry and it didn't even get it's own share on FB (if was grouped into one big update toward the end of the competition).Β
