Ooooh, looks awesome! I think it turned out really well ^^

I see what you mean about the grey reflection in the background now though, I think it looks fine personally! ~ <3

You do that! All the new and improved renders are up now, so thanks again for telling me to be more patient and waiting for final gather to do its thing!

Ooh, yours already looks much better than mine, mine reflects far too much I think.

Which materials did you use?

Thanks, its nowhere near ready yet though, too much lighting to sort out and its a pain. I may just render some now and have andy help me tweak it during the week...

Umm for materials, tons of chrome, a car paint one, a wood one, a rubber one, a metal one, some glass ones and some flat colours.

I'll probably do the same, the reflections everywhere are all wrong.

I would've used glass myself, but that would've requires modeling the inside of the car, which I didn't have enough time to do, so I just gave it really shiny windows.

Unfortunately, mine doesnt have a roof, so I had to do the insides, but since Im bored of doing the lighting now, and 10 minutes every time I want to test something gets tiring, Im going to call it a day on this project, until tues/weds when I can talk to andy about it!

Can you not remove the Final gathering or something like that to speed it up?

Really? I thought that slowed it down the most?

I have global illumination on and 1 million photons, tag that with all the chrome and reflective materials and it slows things down a lot. If I remember correctly, james (hague) spent 45 minutes rendering 1 of his pictures and I spent over an hour rendering one of mine (though that one didnt end up working)

I have pretty much everything on and only takes me 5-10 minutes, though I suppose why mine looks a bit off.
