It's the divisiveΒ US vs THEM mentality that's plaguing our nation. If we removed the two parties, we'd all discover we're pretty complex individuals and most of us are pretty center. There is no center party right now. It's all extremes, and we'll never break out of it continuing to vote the same way.Β

Trump is a disgusting human being and I'm ashamed of our country's choice. Instead of making progress towards equal rights for different demographics and reducing our carbon footprint, we'll be oppressing people who think differently or are from places that make them 'not like us" if Trump gets his way, along with increasing our footprint and speeding up global warming. So what if Hillary's lied? Trump lies too! If that's really your reason to justify a hate monger, perverted, sexually assaulting, profane, rude pedophile (he once said to a couple of teens that he'd be dating them soon and he would walk in on naked girls before his shows) who mocks the disabled? Seriously? And Mike Pence told many lies during the VP debate with "Oh, Trump didn't say that" when he DID say those things. And future VP wants to give homosexuals "therapy" to 'fix" them, sometimes by shocking them.
Though this has taught me something. Either the American Dream that anyone can come here, work hard and succeed and we're a land where people can come to to escape tyranny was either an illusion we thought was there but wasn't or a lie we told ourselves was there but we knew wasn't. Which one that is, I don't know nor do I care. But the land of equal opportunity is dead and in its place we have a hatemongering nation who fears things not like it and people who think differently.
