Hey guys. Who's got two thumbs and isn't dead anymore? THIS GUY.I know it's been awhile since I've been on dA. That's because I sort of... quit. But since I've been drawing a few things, I've been wanting to post them and show them off. So, uh... consider me un-quit.
My first post after returning is of my favorite character from the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics: Jules Hedgehog. He's Sonic's dad, and due to a fatal injury, he's permanently roboticized.
But he's got a cool hat.
Also, he's one of the bamf-iest characters in the comic, at one point telling Sonic's evil twin to "GTFO or I'll kick your ass. And if I don't kick your ass, my son will." (I paraphrased)
I made this to use as an icon for the archie forum boards. I really like how it came out. Tee hee.

This is so cute, never thought a smiling robot would look so cute.
Jules is quite boos, I must say. Too bad he wasn't introduced into the story in a more adventurous way because he's just made of it!

He's got such a cool gimmick- Robot Dad, I mean, how is that not awesome?- it's a shame they never really did much with him as a character. But he's still cool in his own quiet way, even if he's not a fighter or active in some other way like Chuck is. You just have to admire how he always does the right thing, and that he doesn't resent his body being permanently robotic because he's grateful for everything else he still has.
I really hope we haven't seen the last of him in the book, he's one of my favorites.
