My roomie's been playing Kingdom Hearts, and as a result I've had a lot of dark/light symbolism in my head for the last couple weeks. All my poetry and literature classes have had us looking at Whitman, too, and all the black/white symbolism (not to mention the whole slavery issue in that time period.) Pretty generic, but it makes me think and it was interesting hand practice! Might have come out a little cocoaferret inspired, I've really been admiring her art as of late. It's arranged like a poster or a book cover, but at this point I have no plans to make it applicable.
