Watching as you come undoneI see it clearly in your eyes
Like watching the fall of civilizations
Walls crumble
Oceans rise
Fires erupt
Skies break
Slowly... slowly you come undone
You're falling piece by piece
As the stripped armor reveals
Uncovered wounds
Silent stories
A caged animal
Raging, fighting
It is hypnotizing, really
How clear your eyes are
Windows to the undaunted soul
Shaken and cautious
Full of attention
Absorbing all detail
And retaliating back
Tell me, my dear friend
What has cracked you so
And released such a destructive beauty?
