Description
Hello world! Long time no seeWell I've been busy, basically I began working on a new design for my personal website driz_co_uk, and after awhile I decided it wasn't really a personal design, it didn't reflect me, however it was a really nice minimal design that DID reflect a magazine! The design for paperview has been bothering me for a long time, it felt overkill, too bright, too messy, and the adjustments were a pain, the style was cool, but the layout sucked. So I decided to use my driz design for the revamp of Paperview, I've only just began inserting it into the site tonight, so its far from finished, and I'm still deciding on the right colors and look, but the general idea is in place!
Anyways to cut this short, I have uploaded how it looks so far, basically to get some feedback/ideas.
Hopefully you'll like it?

I'm curious about the amount of whitespace between the menu at the top and the content.
Still, it looks pretty darned sweet.

One thing I felt previous incarnations lacked was whitespace, and a decent brand identity. I'm hoping to develop an engaging header, dynamic perhaps that will reflect this, feel free to submit ideas etc. Thanks. x

As a small note, looking at [link] I felt everything was... kinda huge. O.o;

Well the driz site will be changed soon, now that the design is at Paperview. But modern web design trends are sites that are huge, large fonts, huge whitespace, etc, I dunno I'm on a 15inch MBP with 1440x900 res screen, and it doesn't feel huge, feels just right :S

1280x800 here. c_c;
Either way, it just might be me finding something a bit odd about it.

I'm guessing it's because the header is empty and therefore feels like its wasting space, will take a look at it further when I have a header in place. x

Yeah I know, but this time its defo staying like this, this is how Paperview should of looked from the beginning! The design is actually nearly finished, so a release should be around the corner and I have some content to add already. x
