Kithood:
The only kitten in his litter, Maple's mother Rootfur never admitted to who the brown kit's father was. Most Windclan warriors simply assumed it was a wondering loner but know one can be certain. Growing up in the nursery life was pretty standard. Throughout the day Maple would play with he other kits, and by night His mother would tell him stories of great warriors and wise leaders. Maple was never bothered by not having a father his mother's love was all he need.
Apprenticeship:
Shortly after becoming an apprentice Rootfur was killed by a fox. Maple doesn't like to talk about it.
