Description
There were not words for itand it warmed her with such an innate hate that the hold on wrinkled college brochures
faltered, slipped, fell
onto more peculiarly stacked coffee cups
too cracked to wash and too dirty to think
about much more than the bag
lying
on the table
and it warmed her with such an innate hate
that to dispose of it would be too good and to touch its essence would be too fine
that the only thing to rid herself of
it
was a
straw
and a
lighter
and a
breath
and the colours blended so beautifully
painted pallid walls
and dingy plates
and opaque windows
seemed to show their support, their
acceptance
their awe ,
all the world melted into sunsets,
into passion,
into
crisis
so that a marbled tiara felt like
triumph
the room smelled of
autumn
finger tips like
winter
the world like
pain
filled with such innate hate
there were no
words
for
it

dont change it, me likey! i love how you blend the modern world with a fantasy world and the old times, its a rare talent, and i love the way your imagery lets me feel what is actually being said
'the room smelled of
autumn
finger tips like
winter'
