Description So I got it in my ahead, ages upon ages ago, to make something for `jademacalla 's Diverse Skill Set project. My brother ~Dabutz agreed to be the model for 24 different activities - from playing the cello and sculpture to learning Chinese and motorcyling. He was incredibly patient and did an amazing job.

I envisioned a sort of iPod-ad look, a gif slideshow of our Diverse Person doing his 24 Diverse Things. Unfortunately, the soul-sucking slowness of my amateur design skills coincided with what turned out to be an indefinite hiatus in DS2 land. I only finished about half of the skills, but this was made a mock-up for my brother early on, so there you go.

You rock so much that if we were in a boat I'd be calling for a life preserver. I love this concept. DS2 is still alive, but almost exclusively in the 'real world'; i.e. people getting together in person and doing all sorts of wacky stuff. Maybe I'll be able to spread it around some more one day. Until then...1440!

Thanks darlin'. Shooting this with my brother was oodles of fun (I should post some of the stock images as scrap - he had some hilarious ideas).
On a quasi-personal note, I've always wanted to thank you for DS2 specifically, but also generally showing that art is not necessarily something that never leaves the house, and life gets more interesting when you poke around all its corridors and closets, not just the foyer. You are constantly inspiring.

That's funny (not in the 'haha' sense) because I feel much the same way! The breadth of your interests and talent inspires me no end. When I first attempt to make my own dear Grandma's truly perfect pound cake (which no one has ever been able to duplicate, you know how that goes), it will be dedicated to you.

Aww too kind. I do know what you mean - Pound cake is, for something that boasts so few ingredients, surprisingly challenging!
And yes, only three days left until the Second First Annual Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen. There will be art. And possibly blood. But hopefully just art.
