...to join the Autumn Country!
This is, of course, for the ~AutumnCountry annual contest.
I've been chucking this idea around my brain for awhile now ever since I got a book, Weapons of Mass Communication, from the library - an anthology of war propaganda posters from the last century or so. Great book - big, colorful, informative.
The characters pictured weren't originally meant to be anybody specific, but I suppose the first two ended up being Jade and Danii. Dunno if the dingy, beat-up look adds or distracts - whaddaya think?

This is awesome! Like it would be hanging up in a college building/campus. The distressing came out amazing, don't change it--it makes it so interesting. And the font choice is really cool!!! The absolute only thing I can think to suggest is that maybe the eyes are too clearly outlined compared to the rest of the image, but that may have been done on purpose for effect.

Hmm. I have mixed feelings about the eyes - the storyline from which the idea comes from makes many mentions of their amber colored eyes. It seemed appropriate to emphasize them (so it's not just a couple random people standing there) but I don't think I executed it properly.
Ah well. Maybe I'll revisit this someday. Thank you for your thoughts!
