Actually it wasn't technically an art trade.
She was drawing my favorite pony ever for me (BRAEBURN) and I just had to do something in return, so she told me to draw Twilight Sparkle.
Which I'm okay with that because I luff Twilight Sparkle <3

Form this perceptive I most definitely see that it is flat. Whether this was intentional or not, I still find this to be a very great piece of art. What I recommend is to take this feature of flatness and use it just like this picture, but from a different view. Try looking at Paper Mario artwork. From a side view, with the grass and background being normal, I believe you can make a great piece of art with Twilight remaining "flat". It would have that "magic" feel, but still retain a very individualistic and unique style. By the way I love this pic [link]

Twilight looks very two-dimensional;, like a sheet of cardboard. Have you ever considered making a second version? I think your work here has the potential to be one of the best pieces of fan art for Twilight that that I have ever seen, but the cardboard-iness of Twilight really detracts from it.

Ahhhh words cannot express how beautiful this is! The stars are clustered together so realistically which I don't see in a lot of pics... it's really beautiful. And I think you did the perspective and all just fine.
