Something I did for quick practice.
Remake of:
I realize that there are many faults with this. This started out as a quick sketch to do while I waited on my friend, but then it eventually turned into this somehow.
Got her design wrong again. Forgot the black streak on her back, but was too lazy to add it. Also messed up the side of the face that the star is supposed to be on.
I tried painting.. I'm not very good at it. I really need a tablet since it has pen pressure...

My first critique? C:
Positives: I have to say, I'm impressed that you had done this with a mouse. I love the eyes, and the blend of the fur you had put into. And I also like how you made the background kind of match with the cats pelt. The background seems fairly made, stars everywhere as it would usually be in the night sky
Negatives: The shape if the cats head seems kind of deformed, also the size of her body seems kind of odd. The shading is just way out there, and some of the colors don't match evenly with each other.

First off I love this I true but there are some things I'd like for you to improve on c:
First things first I loved the background! Very mysterious yes but what I think would have made it more spooky would take off the blue and like make more of that purple fog stuff yeah that would've been better, and I loved the eye it had lots of detail and the color was amazing I loved that part but. You need to work on your fur a lot and if you ever use paintbrush

It isn't really deformed; it's actually better than most I've seen, since you did use a mouse, but It could use work cx

This is actually super impressive, especially considering you don't have pen pressure. I seriously doubt I'd be able to make a painting like this without my tablet's pen pressure(honestly, I'm literally 100% dependent on pen pressure x"D). And, wow that eye is super, super pretty.

im not gonna critique cause I suck at it but oh well. the painting is really well done for a mouse :3 the strokes are soft, and it really does look like fur. and honestly, painting with a tablet is LOT easier because of the pressure, I've been doing a lot lately. XD but still, the painting is really good, especially in the background. if you do get a tablet, I don't doubt it'll be amazing! :3

thank you! <3 My sister has a tablet, (don't really know why because she doesn't even have a dA and she mostly draws digitally), and I tried it once.. It was pretty hard! I was really confused, and i wasn't used to it so my lines were out of control.) So right now I'm using a mouse. I'm saving my money for a touch-screen tablet though.

Okay XD Yeah, when I started using a tablet it was pretty hard, although I got use to it, because its kind of like drawing with a pencil, although with pressures and a bit more freedom. and for me using a mouse is hard o.o and im trying to get the fur part in, wish me luck! ;=;
