Description Originally, this was going to be Savannah, but it turned into a zoo exhibit. Also thought it would be fun to do it at an evening time, since it made the sand really pretty

First of all, the setting is very fitting for this. I can actually see and feel like this is a place where these Pokémon would live. It's brilliantly done.

Love the coloring. The water has a very nice tropical feel to it. Combined with the sandy shores and the trees, you can easily believe the environment. The details of the shore fading into the water is a nice touch as well. Gives a wonderful depth to this.

I think the only thing I would want to see done differently is more of the species themselves. There's only one of the evolved forms on the map that I can see. That being said, that in it of itself doesn't make it any less good.

Great work!

Very lovely and ambient map. The warm colours are very soothing and I like the colour pallete. I really enjoy the placement of the rocks and trees, the reds give it that "exotic" feel. The palms are a nice choice, it would be nice to see some rocks and shells under the water in future maps.

Only critiques would be to change the water tiles colour, a darker more regal blue would look far more effective and would help to bring out the reds without clashing. Also a white "spray" border should wrap around the sand tiles that meet the water, that way you get rid of the static look.

Good job!

I really like how you've changed the palettes to a sunset type setting, but I think you could go a bit further with it. If you made the sea a kind of red/orange or purple colour it'd really give the feeling of a nice sunset. I also think that your shadows should be a bit more orange to match the theme.

Those are really good ideas. That'd really add to the atmosphere.
