Description
My second version of Jem (Jem & the Holograms).I rerooted her hair with a straight blend of Watermelon Martini and Honeysuckle. (From dollyhair.com) Her corset (pink and silver, with little blue stars) and cute little pink shoes are all rhinestones- she has glitter stockings on. I repainted her eyes and did the traditional "Jem" eye makeup, sealed her up and she's all done.
Time to get started on the rest of the crew.

LMAO, well, I'm finding that some colors just don't work well with the airbrush. So I may be doing more hand painting. I don't mess with dye, lol.

Sweet! That's too funny, I'm working on Jetta right now! LOL. Her base coat is done and I have the fabric for the skirt cut. (I'm not doing the whole outfit in fabric this time though). She's a G3 pony. I can make an extra if you'd like?

Yeah- that was my problem. I didn't want to use a white pony, because all the white makeup would not show. I may have to do my first dye job!

I use my airbrush most of the time, hand paint small details/places I can't get with airbrush.

It's hard for me to pick a fav. in that cartoon series! I always loved Jetta and Stormer, Roxy was a favorite. Jem of course, and Kimber. I think Clash would translate into such a fun pony- not sure if you've seen assasin_kitty's cyber ponies, but I think Clash would make an awesome cyber pony. I'm working on your Jem today

Well. I have just about every color and shade of pony that can be dreamed of. lol I usually leave them the color they are- because I'm too lazy to dye them.
Yeah- the girl is what she turns into when the bull is chasing her.

Unico is SO adorable (if you don't mind anime style). There's 2 movies, but I don't know if they're in print. You'd have to get them on ebay or amazon.

I haven't tried dying yet (lazy too, lol). I usually do a fbr with my airbrush. I have a Jetta kind of in the works...the whole gang has been on my list of to-do's. At this rate, the more things I keep adding to that list, it'll take forever to finish, lol. I just keep a little notebook full of ideas. At the moment I have about 17-20 half-finished ponies sitting on my shelves.

usually I do them in one day, but I made too much apoxie sculpt, so I had to make up some extra ponies to keep from wasting the clay. My boyfriend keeps coming up with ideas for me to do and wants me to get started on them, so the ones I normally do in a day got pushed aside...hence all the half done ponies, LOL.

it's a chore. If you make too much, it'll harden up and be unusable. If you make too little, you have to make more and then wait about a half hour for it to be ready to use. Then you have to wait about 24 hours to dry. Then sand, sand, sand! Then paint. I really have to work at it more.

Stormer is almost finished. I have to get this glue dried and style her hair, then she's complete!
I really HATE, like, with a passion, clay. Using it. And just it in general. .. But, sometimes I have too- although, I think all these pretty little rhinestones may take the place of using clay! lol Yeah- I think that pound of it I bought, will sit in a cabinet. .. FOREVER.

Um. I sell them to friends sometimes, when they ask for something specific- if somebody asks, I'll sell them, but I don't go out of my way to get rid of them. I may have too start doing the Ebay thing being as they're stacking up and I'm running out of places to put them. lol
