Description WOO, SUCCESS!!

Two Kamelot albums, one bowl of peanutbuttery cereal and three runs to the pop machine across the street and I've FINALLY FINISHED MY ENTRY!

It just goes to show, kids, that no matter how much you procrastinate, as long as you have an ongoing source of caffeinated beverages and a library of symphonic metal MP3's to keep your attention, YOU CAN NEVAR LOOOOOSE!!!

thanks, I'm glad you like it she's an amazing singer.

this was painted with the computer mouse in the GIMP program. ..I had a lot more patience for that sort of thing in '07

Well, to be perfectly honest, Freya is the only *good* one I've done in quite some time. Haven't even used my tablet prior to last nite for months...and what I did draw prior to that was muy sucky.

I'll see what I can do this weekend though...

thank you so much I'm very glad to hear that I've made it look photo-realistic especially glad you like the hair and pants, actually, since the hair was one of the hardest parts, and the pants were the last thing I drew on the painting - so they were a little rushed

I love her hair especially - and you've captured the facial expression of a singer, singing so well.

Also, that cannot be an easy body pose to do?!

yes loooong, long time. I kind of worked off and on for weeks, but didn't get much done, then stayed up all night long and finally finished the damn thing my damn procrastination.

That would be a brilliant piece of painting, but with Simone Simons starring, it is nothing short of godlike. As all the previous have said, it is virtually photo-realistic, though there's just something not quite right about her face - can't put my finger on it, and it still looks like her, but its not quite as brilliant as the real thing. Still a fabulous achievement, though, Zippy. *Favourites*
