This is really amazing work. Most artists focus on Poison being female or transexual so it's interesting to see someone who focuses on a male looking concept.
Have you thought about producing Roxy?

Since someone asked me about this before I'd been planning to do a painting with Poison and Roxy together. There are far fewer people who are aware that Roxy was also considered a trans character. So I have wanted to do a picture to show both like this. Keep an eye out and you'll see it sometime soon!

Your work has inspired me to create a pic of Poison and Roxy together. In the future I may produce a nude version of the two but I need to refine a new style I started to experiment with two days ago.

Do you mean a print? I've never completely finished this and prepared it for print.
I do occasionally do commission work if you would be interested in that. I had a chest injury recently and it kind of threw the breaks on me being able to paint for a while but if you were interested you could note me with your ideas and I'd be happy to do something for you once I'm feeling better and have time.

Birdo! LOL Okay, that's at least an amusing idea. XDDD Well, I'm not sure I know a lot more than you do but I do know that Roxy was originally subject to the same controversy as Poison. Both characters were singled out for being examples of violence against women in a game and both characters received the same explanation of being transsexual. Eventually the problem went away and the official statements have shifted to portray Roxy as female since they've given the character statements implying she doesn't like Poison's cross-dressing. But, the official statements have also indicated that there is now basically a break in reality between North American characters and Japanese characters. The clarification has never really been made how this affects Roxy. Considering that and the original explanation that Roxy was a pre-op transsexual I still consider them both to be trans characters. You can obviously find an entire legion of people who will disagree with me but I think it really only matters to do what we would want with a picture anyway.
So I can say I like your idea a lot and in my opinion Poison and Roxy would fit this. Birdo would be a very cute painting I think but I'm not sure how I'd fit her together visually with Poison. Anyway, you have a little time to think about what you want and let me know. ^-^
I'll also try to finish this painting for you when I can and send you the file to get it printed. Since this was a personal work I won't charge very much for the print.

Take yoru tiem with finishing the painting. It's gonna take me time to look up all the LGBT video game characters over the years. I am trying to catch up with writing my blog.
I have two pictures in mind. One of them is Poison, Roxy, Birdo & other LGBT characters out in a park or a mall. doing something social on dates & such.
The other being Poison & Roxy & Birdo march for Trans rights holding a banner.

I don't think I'm a fan at all of "have to" but if you did want to that would be nice. I really just keep looking at your gallery and thinking that would make a great picture. Yeah, there's a pretty complicated dialogue with all of that. I'm not sure I've got it perfectly accurate but you can check me if you're curious. Basically the character was originally concepted as female but then someone objected to a female character getting beat up. So the game story changed and they made her a transsexual. Then the game finally shipped to the US and the story changed again. So it's like a really longstanding debate at this point and something of a joke whether she is or isn't. As far as I am concerned I just wanted to do a hot pic referencing her design and this is what I think is hot. So it's certainly not the official version. Thank you very much for the fave on it. Sorry if it was kind of confusing. ^^
