Well, despite how utterly busy I've been I just knew I has to do something for Trunks month at the salon. So I settled for a good old father son bonding scene (inspired by a certain βTrunks and Daddyβ thread). This just has to be one of my favorite periods during their relationship. I wish there had been more stuff like this- it's in the downtime that you really get to know these people. The work on Veg's face is beautiful- cuts a great ballance between realism and stylization. He still looks like Veg, but you can pucture this person walking around in the round at the same time. I personally like how you only see a bit of Trunks down there, there's something touching about it. He's just a very little boy, the text works with that. Very simple color shapes, and a simple idea that's something wonderful.

I usually don't comment on DBZ fanart because all I really have to say about it is, "I love it!!" but with your art, I can never pass up an opportunity to say, "Your talent is beyond words" I love the lineart, the shading and coloring and the whole concept.

It looks amazing and touching, but compared to Vegeta, the little of what we see of Trunks- it doesn't look good. Basically, all you see is his hair which is .... messy, very. However, perhaps if you actually put something in his hand, it might take away from the messyness....

Absolutely beautiful! The look on Vegeta's face is very well done. And I think you did a wonderful job of portraying the emotions between the two even though Trunks isn't in the frame. That takes skill--which is something you have in spades.
