they are like marsupials, and carry their offspring in their pouches
the pouch for them is mostly used for the offspring, but can also be used for other things like food, tools.
they can chose to have offspring or not because mating with them Is all about consent so there is more possibilities for different sexuality.
They lay eggs, which are kept in their pouch till they are big enough to walk around
the leaves/petals are actually in fact ears, so the size and type can vary a bit.
they have one layer of ears/petals that are mostly flat based flowers, but for the ones that are string like or not like one layered petals would have the basic petals/ears
sick (insert species name) would have droopy/torn ears and older (insert species name) would have slightly lighter/ droopier ears
their ears can close, making them look like a flower bud
