I like the simple layout a lot, so my only critique is that the font dA uses on most of its pages is Trebuchet MS. The main body of font would blend much easier if it was in this font. The title looks perfect as it is, is the main body in Verdana?

All the text is in 'sans-serif', so, the actual font it uses depends on the defaults of the browser, but the font itself will be without serifs.
As for dA's use of fonts, it seems that they use Trebuchet MS for titles and such like, and Verdana for main body text.
I would switch, but, well, if I'm being honest, I don't really like Verdana that much
