Well I thought I might try and contribute to DA for a change. Well I created this tutorial for the lighting effect I often use, or whatever you want to call it. Hope I made it easy to understand and didnt forget anything. Well if I did tell me and ill make a new one. Hope everyone can learn alittle something from it._L I N K F I X E D_

dude i have some questions
you use the same settings that you used to do the first wave in the other 5 waves???
cause the wave 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 looks move chaotic than the first one...
and on the time to contract the layer, i need to hit 'delete' or i need to invert the selection before hit 'delete'?
oh this is a great tut and a great effect...i will be very heppy when i do this correctly

really great tutorial! but i have a question about the first wave you make with the first line. when you have the straight white line and you apply the wave to it it comes out very smooth and well wavy, but when i do it it is very jagged.... please help!

Make sure you have the wave in its own layer and when you make the second one make sure you wave fade it. Also change the settings over and over with each wave. Change the setting lower so the wave isnt as wavey as before.
