A velvety chuckle echoed from just out of the light from the flickering flame with the stale smoke billowing along the curved ceiling of the cave, the flames dancing as if they too laughed with the faceless creature I had yet to set eyes upon. My dried eyes remained fixed upon the flames I had so desperately started hours before hand, hoping whatever creature this was would pass as they others that had come to mock me and my plight, but the laughter only grew louder. Arising from the smoke came a sneering grin, long locks of crimson hair flowing with well kept sheen. Its scales were like that of the fire, the emerald eyes falling upon me with enduring amusement.

"I am Phallos, a creature who has found you in a world that you so carelessly stumbled into."

It announced itself with iron steady confidence, laughing once more with a hearty soul beneath those glistening scales as half its body still distorted in smoke. It was a creature of life, far more carefree than others I'd seen so far.

"You amuse me, human. Creating fire when no creature of this world can withstand its light yet crave its destruction. How terribly ironic."

"...You are not from here?"

"Oh, no, my child. I am from your world. No creature from here can possess what I have..." he chuckled softer now, taking a puff of his odd pipe.

"What would that be?"

"Joy, child. I possess joy."

o.o Wah-ha! Behold! My best piece yet by my personal opinoin. I wanted to do this for so long. He at first had wings, but I trashed the idea after many a frustrating an hour of not being pleased with how they were turning out. He still looks awesome with the expression of smugness I wanted... Or is it that he knows something that we don't? Dun... Dun... DUN!!!
