He hulkish form strode slowly towards the sentry and myself, the blood dripping from his massive hands as he stood just as tall as the loyal sentry beside me. His skin was smooth with a thin liquid layer seperating it from the stale air around him with no clothing to garb his muscular body. Save for his skull like features upon his face and that sharp-toothed grin, his body was that of a shape of a man for he looked more human than most I had come upon.

"Who is this you bring here?"

"Nothing of your concern."

"All of live flesh is my concern, sentry. All that bleeds red and has a mortal heart is mine to devour here in this place."

"Not this one."

"Child..." the beastly creature's hollowed eyes fell upon me as the cold sweat trickled from my brow. "Wander ye too far from this chosen path and I shall render the flesh from your bones as you scream again and again for the merciful death that shall never come. Plead you shall to deaf ears for I am Doubt and I will always stalk you from behind."
