Well , this idea came to me when i was thinking about an old journal i wrote
Idea's that have been abandoned #3Galaga
Yes that old arcade game , i played it a lot ( for some reason most arcade still had it in the early 90's ...
One thing in it interested it , and gave me an idea to work on
When the alien use a tracer beam on your ship , and suddenly you find it attached to the leader , if he attack again and you can shoot him down , you get a double ship , sometimes you miss and don't get the other ship back

One thought i had while playing was
Why did the ship just work with the aliens when after it was traced , and once you blow the other ship they join you at once , that remove the idea that the aliens boarded the ship and were using it
one answer i had was
"Mind Controlled "
I wanted to develop that idea more , maybe after they are hit with the tracer beam the armor change into something similar to the alien bugs ( i think they are , since that what most of their ships were
But after sometime , i can't find the angle to go for ,

And i was Yes it could work this way , and i went and commisisoned Mteck to do it

And Yes in the original script it was a space craft that captured them , but you know , Artists
