That's only pure white cats with blue eyes who can be deaf. Interestingly, an odd-eyed cat (one blue, one orange) will only be deaf on the blue-eyed side. It's one of those genetically linked things. Most blue-eyed white cats are deaf. There's only, like, a 1% chance they won't be.
