Fucking FINALLY.....for how long I have been painting this? Like a month? You gotta give me some credit for not giving up on this right away

However, despite it taking so long, I fucking hate it. Despise it with every inch of my body. It's just so awful bleh
And don't think that I'm just being negative for no reason. I usually like my drawings at some level, but this...nah
I went way too crazy with details and blurred everything to death that everything just lost its shape. Remember kids, when painting something, instead of trying to blur everything in order to create volume, you need to choose colors carefully and not be afraid to make hard edges or leave a stroke be visible.

It was really hard to draw, since...well I didn't have a real life model to paint from like I do in college, but I tried my best.
Something I have learned while drawing it is that you don't need to try and match the real life anatomy of animals in order to paint a cartoon character realistically. Before Momori looked more bland and weird to me, even though I tried to look for a ton of references of cats and crows. But then I just said "fuck it" and gave him his square forehead, big buff chest and just brought his cartoony features to life, which made it ten times better than before and actually made him look like Momori and not some weird ass creature. Sure it's not anatomically accurate, but listen..he lives in a fantasy world, anything can happen...I know that his legs will literally break under such pressure, but whatever, it's magic
