Description
Got some speedpainting in. Not what I hoped for, but forget it. I'll try something similar some other time. Painter 9.Related content

Maybe its a Farmer working on a new Robot for his field. Or a guy who wants to win the next Robot Race. The Legs of the Robot peek out.
I like this alot. I wanna be a part of this, helping this Guy bulding or maybe just watching him working. IS the Robot half ready? or almost ready?
Mixture of old woodenbarn like we had since humans sattle down. and than this Future-Robot, able to run and maybe travel, getting him anywhere. phew alotinthere. great ART!

I used this piece as inspiration and created something using it as a guide. I was having trouble breaking out of my default color pallet, and copied your colors and theme to help me get a new perspective. I have posted the practice piece with a link to yours and credit. Hope that's OK?

I really appreciate it, and think this is a great sketch. I still couldn't quite nail your colors. Great stuff.

Looks like a cross between Half-Life 2 and District 9 to me. I love your brushwork.

Some of my favorite stuff so often ends up being speedpaints and sketches, and this one is a great example!
It feels so lonely and yet kind of inspiring. I love it!

I think it's the LACK of detail that makes this piece.
I love the looseness.

looks like half life 2, during the high way 17 map, one of the coastal run down shacks and what would happen along the area on a regular day had the combine not occupied the area.
The pose on the welder is a bit off. Normally you wouldn't keep your face so close to what you're working on due to the sparks.
maybe work in some details on the characters and give the guy a cigarette for drama - the tough guy vibe.

Reminds me William Gibson's 'Mona Liza Turbo'. There was the same scene...

colors are fucking perfect. really great light and mood. it's a really destinctly autumnal/winter looking piece. and thats great. i think the figure works less well than the rest though. those legs are a bit distracting. i think from farther away they read as pretty weird. I think its as easy a fix as thickening them up a bit. very very nice overall

That's some fantastic speedpainting, and I dunno, it looks to have quite a bit of detail to me. Love the colors and the background, you can almost feel the temperature and sensory details of the piece, if that makes any sense. Great stuff.
