technically it's a very good artwork and the anatomy I assume is supposed to be exaggerated and stylized. Great job ^^ However I think many people are not happy with it not merely because of the exaggerated anatomy but because it's an unrealistic portrayal of a woman's body and the sexual portrayal of women in media has become a sensitive and controversial kind of topic at the moment.

Well said. I would take it a step further. Celebrating beauty is one thing. Sexualizing it without an edifying context encourages disrespect of women: not a thing to be taken lightly when 1 in 8 women admit to having been sexually assaulted and/or raped.

I think you misunderstand me, or you did not read my comment with care, or perhaps I just didn't express myself well. ^_^;
I, personally, am not offended by this piece of art and I believe that people should be allowed to create self-indulgent works without being lynched at the town square. But plain fact is, the depiction of women as sexual objects in media is a very controversial and sensitive topic at the moment and for good reason, and my point is, that the reason why so many comments criticize this piece's anatomy is not because it is exaggerated and not completely realistic so they dislike the style, but rather, that they are unhappy with the way a women's body is portrayed and that it may promote objectification of women or false expectations.

I find it hard to believe this is a pose that can be naturally replicated..
Her left buttcheek is small so it seems like her hips are turned even further away, and the underwear line makes the butt look completely separated from the rest of the spine. I'm very confused.
