I was going for clown theme, but I guess the 'royal' feel of the character itself make it feel more like that XD

True. It does feel like a joker though. With all those cards and masks, it really gives that playful look.
As for my personal opinion, he could have been OK also if he was maliciously smiling in front of us (that's what I thought though)
