Description
At first it was supposed to be a new icon, then a Fallout: Equestria version of my OC/avatar/mascot, then it became another anatomy study, and then finally a rule 63 experiment.I dunno. Really, it was done as a small break in between two days of work on the comic.

The battered red on the armour really stands out 
The image definitely has a post-apocalyptic feel to it;

I tend to change my mind pretty often about stuff I draw, and things I start rarely end up the way I imagined them to be at first.
Often for the best, though.
That and I've been doing a lot of anatomy practice lately, so it was only a matter of time until something like that popped up.

Now, to be the Devil's advocate, it does kinda make sense that they would favor aesthetics over realism most of the time, since sticking too much to reality would be kind of boring.
Besides, raiders are probably so freaking high all the time, I dunno if the idea of going out actually protected crosses their minds very often.

That's part of what makes 'em dangerous
They could be covered in horrific gaping wounds, but they can't feel it and you'd have to pretty much take out the head or heart to stop 'em

True. That said now, I've been fencing for about a decade now, and I gotta say the adrenalin rushes do their jobs of numbing down the pain to nothingness pretty well.
So, that adding up to whatever adrenalin shots/painkillers raiders are pretty much living off of...

I don't think cuts carry quite the same pain measurement as wounds inflicted by guns
One is often on the surface of the skin, the other tends to go through it completely, doing a lot more damage to nervs that register pain
Even a stab wound isn't as fatal as a gunshot wound, since swords tend to be much narrower

True. I'm not an expert on gunshot wounds, and I don't plan on getting one anytime soon.
But I gotta say that 'melee' weapons can cause immense amounts of pain as well.
I remember that time somebody took a broken sword through his hand.
Besides, I'm pretty sure that those are likely to end up causing more pain due to the higher chances of a non-immediately lethal blow.
Not an expert either though, so heh.

Just like drawing, in a way. It often requires working on muscular structure just to get anatomically possible poses.
Morbid as can be, tends to weird people out, but really useful in the end.

That's also true!And I'm pretty sure the breasts are a bit too low on the chest as well.
It's mostly due to laziness and small budget (read: none) material meaning I would have had to redo everything, which I simply do not have the time for. D:
Also, fun fact, the pose is an exaggeration of the curves of my spine. ._.
But, yeah. Lousy excuses aside, that's why I'm still not done with anatomy practice. Still got a long way to go before I'm done.

Nah, everything above the bellybutton looks fine
breasts come in all kinds of shapes, sizes and configurations
heck, some natural breasts aren't even the same size...
And everything else just needs little adjustments
