So, this is Fishy (blup-blup or nico, according to whom)It took me about 1 month to finish it
i know... lazy, lazy hands.
Anyhow

You may wonder who Fishy is, well, i'll tell ya
It's my first, simple and beautiful betta fish!
Thinking it might die, it will die someday not soon, i decided to immortalize it by drawing him
, so when the inevitable disgrace of death arrives, i'll remember him foreverOr, maybe i should have taken a picture instead of wasting my time and burning my eyes in front of the computer
Anyhow, I love my fish and it loves me too ( i hope)

A DD!!!!! XD Fishy would be so pleased and happy!!! it's gotten more famous than me. Sadly for us all, Fishylou passed away in February T_T
So indeed, with this DD it'll be not only on my memory, but in every one of you who share and enjoy this tribute illustration!

I love it. This remembers me to the art my Aunt Gabriela used to do when I was a kid. Those are very beautiful colors.

I *love* this. And that is not something I say often. Almost never. Maybe never. But I look at this piece and I just want to fall into it and stay there. I want to blow it up to fill the wall of some pretentious New York loft with excellent lighting and look at it for a very, very long time.
It doesn't hurt that I once had a beta fish and was young enough to be completely entranced by it.

Haha, re-reading it, all this praise sounds unnecessarily lavish, but as soon as I scroll up I just want to keep gushing about how much I love it. It's a gem.

Looking at this, I feel a wave of serenity wash over me. I don't know if this is because of the beautiful colors or because of the delicate curves of Fishyrlou's fins. Anyway, a very soothing, calm piece that is wonderfully done.

really nice! I never had great luck with beta fish... my first one died after my dad gave it filter water, the second one died after two days... i want another, but my mom is saying no way

THis reminds me of my little guy Bob! He just died in January and he was about the same color as this one! Love it! It really portrays the wonderful nature of the Betta and it's curiosity at the bubble is so cute! Congrats on the DD! Love it!

yeah! you should, They are very curious, I could not take my eyes from my fish for almost a month, i loved the way he moved from one side of the tank to the other. They also make you feel happy and responsible, cos you gotta feed them, check the water, and all caring related matter.

LOL! Yeah, I check all the time to make sure no predators get them! There are seven orange ones, three white ones, one of whom is my favourite because of his long pretty fins and another of whom is a the biggest in the pond and is the mother of our three baby fish, two black, one orange.
