I have plenty.
I'm weak against
the hot puff of air on my neck
when I'm hugged;
I'm weak against
people who spot
the holes in my shields.
I'm weak against
sob stories,
romance novels,
and fairy tales.
I'm weak against
love songs.
I'm weak against
catchy melodies.
I'm weak against
the seductive purr of lyrics.
I'm weak against
silk and satin,
velvet and
leather and lace.
I'm weak against
sweet-talking guys,
smooth little flirts,
cute guys and
unattainable men.
I'm weak against
the love letters,
the beautiful lies,
the dirty talk.
I'm weak against
chocolate,
the scent of roses,
and accents.
I'm weak against
the feel of fingertips
dancing on my flesh.
I'm weak against
the scent of smoke
on smooth skin.
I'm weak against
my hormones.
I'm weak against
the sensation of
people playing in my hair.
I'm weak against
fingers stroking the flame
beneath my skin.
I'm weak against
the feathery touch
on my ears.
I'm weak against
flirty compliments,
long-fingered hands,
and a sexy strut.
Most of all,
I'm weak against
people I don't expect
to steal my heart.
I'm weak against
you!
My favorite weaknesses are
the scent of you,
the feel of your arms,
the way you turn your cheek for my kiss,
your flirty come-backs,
your sweetest words,
your Sunshine smile,
your sensitivity,
the way you see through my masks,
and the way I love you.
