Artwork for contest at the Russian CG resource - Render.Ru.The task was about creating characters in Asian cyberpunk style. Two sides are Samurai police (red) vs Shinobi rebels (blue).
It was my new training in drawing concept art.
I decided to divide these characters to order and power versus freedom and chaos.
Samurai are the cruel police, which obeys the central AI. They are powerful and strong.
Shinobi are an opposition group, who are against the AI rule. These are scientists, hackers and just fighters. They are weaker than the police, but they are quite cunning (haha, classic). Ok, a typical story.
I used Photoshop, ZBrush, Keyshot + Kitbash for some details like the big gun.

Wow, that looks like a different style. Wow, I like your new direction in concept art. The design is very sharp and makes them look strong. The boots of the woman almost look like a ungulate (even toed), very cool!
