love it! i love the contrasts from the person's white-hair and paler skin tones to the dark reds and blacks of the tree and building behind him. i love the piece, it is one of those things that i can't help but stare at for a long while! one of your greatest pieces yet (in my opinion)

I feel a calming nuance form this painting. At first I thought this is a Japanese theme, but judging from the title, Thu is a Vietnamese name, isn't it?
