This is pretty awesome! I like how you've got the offering of a hand there to show support and to emphasise that the survivor is found?
The expression is well expressed as always and I like how the setting shows the state of things as well... what could have happened and all.
Then again, it could be more ominous than that and the person could want to do harm to this kid.
