character Taren. Twin of Bartin he was put in Cryo Stasis at the age of 6. Years later he was revived unbeknowst to his brother.

Still under the control of the Red Ribbon Foundation, he is disgusted by Bartin's choice to settle down into a normal life.
With the use of gene therapy and age drugs he now has the appearence of a 17 year old.
He makes his initial appearance when 14 year olds, Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr challenge one another in a street fight. The boys are forced to work together in order to stand a chance however are thrown side when Taren goes Super Saiyan.

Bartin shows up and they have a bit of a spat. Seeing how much stronger Bartin is, Taren retreats and it seems that Goku Jr has a new rival.
