Abandonded Red Ribbon shortly after his fight with Yola at the World Martial Arts Tournament.
The Red Ribbon's considered him an expendable assest that could be replaced. When the fight was over and Yola saw to it that he got proper medical attention despite the fact that he tried to kill her. After that moment Bartin is utterly torn between his upbrining and his gratitude and respect for Yola. Though he no longer takes orders from them he still wears the symbol on his garb until he replaces it with the capsule corp symbol in his late twenties.
Bit long winded.

cant wait for that design! Taren is Bartins brother but he still is in the hand of the red ribbon army, he tries to get Bartin to join him in his evil quest of destruction whith the army, which leads to there long battle.
