Starting up the new OC comic based off ofCollege Chaos by
All your Charries
The Dragonball
and a few ideas of my own.
Its Yola Briefs first day at Shenron High, a school for young Aliens, Super beings, and freaks from all over the universe.
Yola has come to Shenron after finding she had latent super human abilities and to help hone them as well as keep up with her education she has come here. She is being led around by Arta, a senior saiyan girl who probably could care less about helping.
So begins another project, if you like it try and help me stay motivated with helpful hints, comments, favs, and anything else you can think of.

Not really, these are all fan characters that exist in their own way with their own connections. For example Zuki is the daughter of Fasha and Bardock, making her the older sister of Goku, and hence making her the Great Aunt of Yola, however Zuki is in the comic as a teenager as well, so therefore cannot possibly be Yola's great Aunt due to the minute age difference.
If you are curious about the family tree seek out the original creators for the official low down, as for Shenron, don't try, you will merely hurt yourself trying to figure it out, I did.

ok thx dude... and (srry to keep asking all these questions) Zuki? is she a fan made character or is she really Goku's sister? and if so... GOKU HAS A SISTER???? how do you know this??? and how do you know his mother's name??? iv'e seen every episode... hell, i OWN every episode and the movies and specials so how could i have missed that???????????

No, no, nothing so juvenille, there is a perfectly sensical even comical reason as to why they dress different.

Yola I modeled after my girlfriend, she does cute things without even knowing it and I intern draw it, without her knowing it

hehehe...now I can comment again rather than stare at the pretty new addition to the first page. 
Anyway, the last few panels are good...add more of a emotionally charged feeling for poor Yola.

Yeah I know, it had me for a while too.
Emotion is what I was going for that an a total lack of full body shots. I think all to often many artists tend to develop their male characters and leave their female characters as stale, one note, arm candy. I do not wish to give Yola this fate, more than anything I want people to be inspired by her, she should stand alone from Bartin, not his love interest, but a living breathing, capable young women who has a mind of her own.
Yes indeed she can thank Vegeta and Gohan for her Saiyan Blood, but her Great Grandfather too, in Goku that is.
Why yes that is a take off of Dodoria, good eye on that one, didn't think anyone would catch that.
Yeah, Arta is, well Arta is Arta. I model her after characters like Mandy from Grim and Evil, cold and cool with a hard shell that hides a small amount of compassion, not much, but its their, very very deep.

You do that sometimes...you just come outta nowhere with these really good pieces of advice on creating a character. I agree with you completely...I'm definitely guilty of neglecting my female characters, even though they're developed enough to stand on their own.
