It's been awhile since I picked up Blue Submarine Number Six, but it was just such a good series. Verg was an interesting character (although just slightly less interesting than Zorndyke) and I have to say it: he did have a human side to him just as he did a bad side. It's interesting, since to me, Zorndyke was using him and the mutants just as much as he was the humans, even if he did love them as his own children. But I'm not going to debate that. I'm here for the art.
This is a spectacular drawing of Verg, and that's saying a lot, given that in the anime, he's almost always shown in shadows and dark colors, obscuring a lot of him. You've gotten the cloak and arm bands down pat, and the body weight is nicely proportioned, and you've captured the marks on his right arm very well. Good job on the area around the neck as well (that must have been complicated!). Man alive, the face? What can I say? It's like it's right out of the anime! Oh, and the hair? That must've been a pain. Verg must be a complicated character to portray, but you've gotten him down nicely. Everything is just... wow.
It's all so well done, and the fact that there isn't a background or colors to obscure him works to the pic's advantage. This is a work of genius! You should be proud of it. Welcome to the list.
