A homunculus (from Atelier Ayesha) I drew as a commission! I have it a few artichike flowers since they reminded me of its colour scheme and tail tip. I really enjoyed working on this <3● Character belongs to Gust Co. Ltd.

Oh my god... this is just absolutely Gorgeous, Siplick. The way this creature is sitting reminds me a bit about the way sitting plushie creatures sit, yet the way the tail is splayed outward in front underneath the fence just adds to that typical feeling, and the result is an adorable way to shift the center of gravity under this little guy a bit further forward. Visually, it produces an extremely cute effect.
The color scheme reminds me of those old style "fox versus briar rabbit" illustrated storybooks from the days of the antebellum south. The fact that this creature looks a little bit like a pokemon adds a really nice touch to it, though. A sort of past meets future sort of thing. xD
By the way, I was able to find this work due to the fact that you were featured by another deviant on this site, maakurika . I don't know if you know this, but I thought I should let you know anyway. This is definitely one of my favorite artworks, Siplick.

Thank you very much for your comment! It is true that the colour scheme looks pretty traditional in that aspect because of the warmer and muted colours. The colour scheme in the game the character's taken from looked the kind of game that would go for this colour palette for their character design, so I had to do so as well
