Description I never thought I would be one for a gender bend cosplay but I couldn't resist the urge to cosplay Harley Quinn. This cosplay was so much fun. Its been done before so I thought I'd add my own twist to things. And it felt really good for once to cosplay someone who was as loud as I am. I even had my own "Ms. J" who I got to call Puddin'.

I would love to do that, be a Miss J one day and have my boyfriend call me Puddin'. Β I've dressed up as Harley, in several incarnations, already, and since purple has always been my favorite color, GB Joker is the next logical step.

I actually commissioned them from a friend. She made the entire thing from scratch.

wow, this is so cool. I really, really like the idea. and I must admit for once it is nice to see someone male going for a gender bend cosplay wereas it is usually female cosplayers doing one of the amazing batman villains as a gender bend cosplay
Anyway, I've seen another male Harley once on the internet, but I must say I like yours a lot better because of the original design. The idea wearing a shirt and vest instead of something black and red with lond sleeves is really cool and makes a creat style which fits perfectly to the Batman universe.

I really don't know what to say to this. Thank you so much for the words of praise Madam. I really appreciate how much thought you put into this comment. I didn't make the cosplay myself but I tried really hard to think of a more unique concept for Harley. She's done so many times that in order to stand out you have to pretty much flip the idea on its head.

You are very welcome I think it happens very often here on dA that you see an amazing piece of work and simply put "love it" or something like that under it as a comment, but that cannot describe what's so great about the artwork. So I try to be a little more specific.
And I agree doing Harley is pretty difficult especially if you wanna stand out. But let me say your costume definitely does stand out I really love the originality! The only thing that'd be missing now are some cool photos Is there a chance of seeing some pics that were not taken at a con?

Aw! Thank you! I appreciate all the compliments. I did my best to give Harley the justice she deserves. Especially since she was one of the more popular cosplays this years. I felt kind of intimidated when I saw the regular girl versions. But it came well enough.

I'm sorry! I sort of kept it a secret for as long as I could. I didn't have the entire cosplay until Wedneday and even then I was unsure if it would work out.
