reference sheet for my version of the Norse goddess Sif ^^

in the mythology she's associated with the harvest ect. and has a very long wig made out of solid gold ^^ she's married to the god Thor and is the mother of Ullr and Thrud

Sif's Background (mostly made up by me so no stealing my ideas)
Sif was the third sister out of six, so from a young age was desperate to form her own identity, this took the form of defying many traditionally customs of Jotunheim, like growing her hair to ridiculous lengths and refusing to take part in her own arranged marriage. eventually she had enough of living with these customs and traditions and ran away to Asgard. which brought huge shame to her family. she has a magic skill which allows her to grow plants and make plants healthy and thrive, though she's not the strongest magic user around her skill was greatly appreciated by Asgard and she was put to work in the agricultural parts of Asgard which is were she met Thor (who was the lord there). they quickly became friends and steadily became romantic. this did not sit well with Thor's best friend Loki (who was convinced she was hiding something from Thor and partly jealous that his best friend didn't want to spend time with him anymore). this lead Loki to cut off her hair while she slept which she was incredibly upset about. her long hair had been her distinguishing feature that identified her as unique and her own person for years. plus it made her extremely uncomfortable to think that Loki could so easily break into her bedroom. Thor lost it with his friend and demanded he fix it (but we all know that myth so i won't go into it). shortly after she got her wig of gold she received a letter from one of her sisters begging her to come home and get married to some lord in Jotunheim. the letter made Sif feel guilty enough to leave her home in Asgard and Thor, though she could not bring herself to tell Thor why she was leaving or where she was going she just left.
she got married and had her son Ullr. though her husband, Heimskr, and herself loved their son they never got on. Heimskr died in a mysterious "hunting accident" with his brother which meant that his lordship fell to 10 year old Ullr. Sif suspected that they were both in danger and even after giving the lordship to Ullr's murderous uncle she still suspected that they were not safe. with the threats closing in around her and her young son she was over-joyed when Thor (by chance) ended up travelling in that part of Jotunheim. Thor agreed to help Sif and Ullr get to Asgard were they would be safe and untouchable. after some time in Asgard Sif and Thor started their relationship again and got married, which quickly resulted in their daughter Thrud. when Thrud was about nine months old it became apparent to Sif that Thor was not faithful as a stranger turned up to their hall with Modi and Mangi, twin boys which Thor had with Jarnsaxa. Sif did some very regrettable things to get back at Thor but they got over this rough patch and Sif became a mother to Modi and Mangi, treating them the same as her other children.
