Description
my version of the Norse god Thor ^^Thor's background (things that i have made up and are not in the mythology)
he's a sweet guy that protects humans and Midgard from threats ^^
he was born on Midgard and learnt about nature from his mother Jord (basically a mother-earth figure in the mythology), his aunt Hlora (who acted as his foster mum while Jord was away) and his older half brother Meili. though his father Odin visited often he was not welcome in Jord's hall. despite this Thor was a pretty happy and mellowed out child. when Odin and his brothers made humans to inhabit Midgard Thor was thrilled and made his brother Meili take him to see them, but Meili knew these new creatures would disrupt and corrupt Midgard so tried to kill them. this upset Thor as he only saw them as weak but good creatures and tried to stop his brother, things got out of hand and due to Thor not being able to control his lightning powers ended up killing Meili. Jord freaked out and banished Thor from his home. not having any other option he moved to Asgard and lived with his dad. Odin wanted to know why his son had suddenly shown up and why Jord had abandoned him but Thor, being so ashamed of what happened, refused to tell anyone what happened. this led him to become withdrawn and angry which only led people to avoid him more. he was pretty miserable in Asgard until Loki befriended him.
