found a tutorial online about how to shade skin with promarkers and thought i would give it a go but not sure i like the effect
Tyr- Norse god of war and of being brave, he famously loses his hand to the wolf Fenrir (this picture happens before that)

It is, randomly giving my characters black nails and fat fingers for it and stuff
My mom can relate, poor woman
But it's like I said, you don't need huge hands to do it~ For example, I've been drawing a new character, and I didn't use a picture but my hands themselves, and even though I drew them tiny at first, I resized them to fit the character's big build~ I have pictures saved up for that very same reason

That's why you need to practice ewe I used to do that too, but I learned to redraw hands over a small sized one (when I make them small by mistake) and resizing it to fit the character ~
