After a lot of futile attempts to haul herself out, she found herself helplessly trapped, up to her belly in the thick squeezing
mud and had no clue what to do now. She could only watch how the surface came closer and closer to her.
Crying for help wasn't a good idea, because she could attract monsters with it.

Beautiful work indeed. Love the slow, gradual process of her sinking into the treacherous mud. Both her pose and the distressed expression on her face are very cute and sexy.
The positioning of her arms, hands, and body are particularly nice for this piece... it has a nice blend of two actions: her leaning to one side, clenching her hands, and glancing down at the mud sucking her in gives the impression she's worried and concern; however, it can also come across as her gritting her teeth and clenching her fists as she STRAINS at the hips to break free of the mud's relentless and powerful suction.
Great work on making the mud look so THICK and heavy as it reacts to her struggles. Love the combination of the mud mounding up and bowing down around her stuck hips as the mire twists and ripples as she fights to get free. Also, great attention to detail by showing her sword sinking deeper with each frame and showing evidence on the muddy bank behind her of her futile efforts to use the firm ground as leverage to get loose of the mud's grip.

I love this one! She's so expressive, clutching her muddy hands close to her chest as she peers nervously down at the soft, burbling muck!

Wait, there's another claw mark! Her left hand on the bank!
Yeah, if you look at the previous drawing, both her hands were clawing at the bank, and sure enough, both left marks!
I just cycled through them, I can't believe I didn't see that last time. XD
Yeah.. the mark itself was well-hidden behind her hand.

All this motion, this set is really dynamic.
Yeah. Increasingly I think this is not just Sir-Raymond's best work yet, but also probably one of my favorite muddy/sinking series in general!
Seriously! I can't recall a series that told so much without resorting to gobs of frames, or went the super economy mode and sunk their subject from oh, say, ankles to thighs in the span of a frame. All of the details and their evolution are mindblowing! Her armor shedding. Her sinking from thighs to waist. The expansion of the soft, blurping pit, which almost has claimed all of the grass in the foreground. Her sword! Her rising panic and evidence of struggle. There's like 5 separate stories being told here.
Yeah, every one of them seems to progress with each new frame... nothing stops happening because another detail is being focused on!
I am enthralled with cycling through these like a flipbook.
And Sir-Raymond's kept the background intact and unmoving, which allows you to focus on poor Djeeta's circumstance.
