To get that out of the way... It has been a while since I've posted here.
I took a break from digital art for a while and went to school for traditional medias. It is such a pain to scan pictures with accurate color quality that I just never posted them. I also didn't have a computer for a while that was strong enough to power photoshop without having a major lag, and when I was moving my tablet pen broke! So just a bunch of little things to keep me from arting. Hopefully I will get to post here more often and I already have about 5 pieces in the making! Whoo!

Now about the piece..
Again, this is not suggesting to anyone to pick up a gun to shoot themselves. I am not telling anyone to commit suicide.
This is more a commentary on the situation in the US, where I live. There have been a large amount of school shootings as of late, though there has always been such a problem.
Guns are little too readily available and people tend to forget that there is another living human being on the other end of that weapon. It's not just fun and games, it can have an effect on other people's lives.

I went for a faux graffiti feel in this picture with a semi-realistic portrait. I plan on doing a series of portraits focused around this theme.
